I love high humidity it makes my skin and eyes feel so much better.
However these high temps and humidity are really to much.
It also seems that fatigue and sluggishness and even SOB is riding along now with these temps. In my younger years...I scoffed at such temps/humidity and went on with anything outdoors I wanted to do at any time of the day.
Do any younger folks with sjogrens feel like this?
my husband acts like it is 75 degrees out and he a year older than me.
very irritating to watch.

I have NEVER been able to deal with extreme heat - even as a kid. I just kinda come apart...MISERABLE. I do think it's related to the Lupus/APS/Sjogren's. Or maybe I'm just a wimp, I dunno :P....
Different bodies have different strengths and weaknesses....you can probably put up with stuff he can't; it's just different stuff!
Hope it cools off for you soon....
I have such a hard time with it too. I'm with you on the humidity, it does help. The heat...I feel it sucking the life out of me as soon as I step outside. I was even considering purchasing a "cool vest", but they are just too dorky, can't bring myself to it.
If I still had to deal with outdoor yard and garden maintenance I might get it though. It's basically a vest that can either have cool water pumping through it or pockets to load cool gel bags into it.
I was even thinking about renting a jet ski today and getting out on the lake...but after taking my dogs out this morning, I came back inside and plopped my butt down in front of this computer...again. It's just so dang hot.
I agree...I don't like the heat and I really don't like the humidity and both have been terrible here in Illinois. I am hearing we are supposed to get some relief after today and have temps back in the 80's this upcoming week. Until then...I am enjoying my AC.
I really understand the feeling of the heat sucking the life out of you. It has been horrible here in SE KY just like most of the US. Feels like you're walking into an oven outside!
I, also, was one of those who did whatever I wanted years ago in any weather, no matter how hot. Didn't seem to faze me...but no more. I can actually tell when the temp hits about 80, because that's when the knees and elbows begin to tingle and burn and I feel just plain lousy all over.
I sure hope everyone begins feeling some relief soon! :D Never thought I would be hoping and praying for temps in the 80's.
I want some of your darn heat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are icicles hanging off my...earlobes.

Poor, cold British woman as I am.
