Hi
I have been having some horrible symptoms lately, i was off work all last week.
It started a couple of weeks ago, i was at work and became extremely tired and couldnt think straight. I slept for the afternoon then woke and felt no better, i laid low but was progressively feeling different symptoms, rash across cheeks and nose, cold hands and feet, tremors/shaking down one leg, stiffness in the morning with fatigue and mental slowness, pain in back of hand and weakness. Headaches and constantly feeling fatigued. I have a new gp and went to her. She ran some blood test and nothing out of ordinary apart from my liver but thats due to PBC and elevated ESR.
I also had this weird sensations under my scalp, like a vibration or like bugs crawling in a particular area. I am worried that im having neuro probs, my gp has referred me back to rheumy for an earlier apt. I have recently been diagnosed with Eushtain ? tube dysfunction and put that down to my dizziness. I dont know what to think, I already have a few autoimmunes i dont want anymore, im making mistakes at work, i thought about referring myself to Occupational Health before my works refer me.
Sorry its a long post, wonder if anyone else has these symptoms or know what it might be.
I have PBC, Auto-immune hypothyroidism, Sjogrens, ETD.
Take care

Maybe your primary care Doctor can make a referral for you so it is covered by insurance?
I have these symptoms daily....If they cant find any type of infectious cause, then i chalk it up to autoimmune. Feel so sick inside, like Ive been poisioned or something is the best way to describe it. Have you doc check you for Epstein Barr, mono, CMV, herpes type viruses as well.
I know some feel better taking an anti-viral medication too.
Have you had all your hormones checked recently?
Maybe a course of steriods?
wish I had some answers..hope you feel better soon.

Hi joe
Thank you for reminding me, i hadnt considered the cost of referrel.
Gursie
Thank you
When i go to see the rhuemy i will ask about the other possibilities, i just know that i am not as i used to be even with sjogrens alone, there does seem to be something amiss, your description of poison does kind explain it, i constantly feel nausea, and no appetite and yet gained some weight, could be lack of getting about. What has your doc said yours symptoms were down to.
Take it easy
