Hi, something really weird happened last night and I was wondering if anyone had experienced anything like this.
I have had twitches in my muscles for a long time now. I also get tingling and a slight numbness in my hands and feet, shock like jerks throughout my body, and wiggling muscles, like something moving under the skin. Lately my hands and feet will sometimes twitch on their own.
Well last night I woke up about four and was laying there, trying to convince myself that I didn't need to go to the bathroom, when it felt like someone grabbed my head and nodded it. I don't really know how to describe this. It felt, briefly, like my head was immobilized and moved, without my control. Then my face felt hot for a moment and my lips went numb. Like after you went to the dentist, and your mouth is starting to wake up. Today I feel okay, my upper lip still feels just a little numb, like it's still waking up, and my neck is a little stiff, but nothing really unusual.
I've been struggling with an on and off fever for a while too, swollen glands, etc... The usual flare type symptoms, but this was just really odd, and kind of scary. If anyone has any ideas or advice I'd be grateful. Thanks.

I have jerky muscles, stuff crawling under the skin and head/neck tremors when laying down, numbness in hands, legs, pins and needles a lot in legs. Sounds the same sort of... but I have no idea what it is or why... Sorry, not much help but good to know you and I are not alone.
Sometimes medications can cause jerky movements. I tried Wellbutrin awhile back and noticed my arms and legs would twich and I stopped the med because I didn't need that. I am on seroquel in place of it and after a month or so have noticed an occasional jerking of an arm or leg and will just wait to see what happens. It's not as bad as before. Lucy
