I took 8 mg Bromhexin (Bisolvon) to see if it helped against my dry mouth/eyes and it worked really well. Shortly after I noticed that my saliva really increased (not sure what it did to my eyes). When I took my Salagen two hours later I noticied it again.
Which of course was very nice but just after my Doc put me on Prednisolon ...
So when do you think the Bromhexin is out of my body (so that I can see what only the Prednisolon does to me)?
Bromhexin reaches peak efficiency in about one hour, and the effect of a single dose lasts about 6 hours. The half life is approximately 6.5 hours, and a single dose will be almost totally excreted (+/- 90%) in 5 days.

I dont think I can get a better answer then that!
Thank you!
