I made a video about online lupus support groups. I listed ours on it and I hope that it's ok! I did it to the song, "You've Got a Friend" by Carole King. It is for people like us with lupus and our families and friends, I hope it helps get the word out there to increase lupus awareness! There is no talking in it, just slides of online support groups - all people in the videos are people with lupus I met online in support groups! It's about 5 minutes.
Thanks so much and please feel free to leave a comment on it. Many HUGS, Julie

Good friends, good books and a sleepy conscience: this is the ideal life.

Alright, JuJu, thanks for making me cry again today! Lol. It was a very nice piece.
Until I became sick, the only thing I had ever heard about lupus was the reference to it in Seinfeld by George. In his usual frantic way, thinking that he had lupus, "is it Lupus?!!! I knew it!". Most people know nothing about auto-immune disease, except that they have probably heard of MS.
It is hard being ill for sure--feeling defective. I feel ashamed at times and worried that people think what I have is communicable. The more people know about these conditions, the better it is for everyone. Thank you!
Thanks for making this. Like Ark Mom, I cried too. Both me and my mom have lupus. My mom has the skin kind but I have systemic (I always thought she had the systemic too, but she told me her lupus is confined to her skin thank goodness).
Thanks for spreading knowledge about lupus. It's hard to understand something that comes and goes. It helps people to know that we're not lepers or fakers lol ;)
Just watched your video and just wanted to say it was well done! The support group message is a much needed one for those of us who are suffering. Thanks!
Way to go juju 8) !!!!!! As an artist I appreciated the music/photos/text flow of the video. As an AI sufferer, I appreciated how beautifuly you put faces on this disease without making the video too depressing. After the video ended I found myself sitting quietly, reflecting :). Thank you for educating in a beautiful creative way.
Be kind to yourself, Ceceraven
Thank you so much! Many hugs, Julie
juju, oh I watched this, and it is just what I needed. I also have lupus, and didn't have these extra support sites to help.
Thank You
