We were throwing out a clothes hamper and my husband had taken the top off it before he put in out to be picked up.  He was telling me tonight that he was nearby the hamper and he noticed a robin sitting on the edge with a worm in it's mouth.  A minute later, he saw the robin go into the clothes hamper and come back out.

The robin went away then and my husband thought it was funny and he looked inside the hamper.  Way down at the bottom, was a tiny baby robin.  Somehow the robin had fallen into the hamper and could not fly out or the mother could not help it out.  The mother did continue to feed it though.  My husband then gently put the hamper on it's side and put the little robin on the lawn.  He knew the mother would find it and likely know what to do.  Later in the day, he checked back and both mother and baby were gone.
