OMG!
My wife DVR's that, so it's on the TV right now recording.
I hate it. It is CRAZY! These little kids are going to be so screwed up when they get older... and some of these parents are NUTS!!!

I don't have kids, but I'm telling you right now...my kids wouldn't act this way and wouldn't be forced into this mess. I think it is horrible!

Interesting in that my husband's niece has a daughter who is almost 5.  They do not live here and we see her only about once a year and they come back home and load up on birthday presents for the child.  There is no father in the picture.  I've notice quite a few "posed" pictures on Facebook lately.  No makeup on the girl or anything, but just a little cutesy for 4 years old.  Hands on hips, etc.

Then I got an email asking me if I would "support" the girl in the Indiana Little Miss Pageant meaning can I send some $ for them to use.  I wrote back and said no that I didn't believe in girls doing this kind of pageant thing before high school at least.  I said I would "support" academics, sports or other things but not of girls trying to look 16 when they are 6.  I also said Jon Benet's father just wrote a book and he wishes they had not done the pageant thing and this might have saved their daughter.  He thinks the "man" may have been watching all along.

My niece wrote back....."oh no, they don't wear make-up or anything."  Well, I am not sending $$ so this little kid can look like a hooker.  Lucy

Some of those mothers of those poor girls act like real "explicative"s with their guilt trips and insults... those little girls are being scared for life. Sad.
