Title: does medicare paid for eyes to be dilated 2x a year?
Post by: valene2009 on February 29, 2012, 01:02:58 PM
i was told by my eye doc  today that the new guidelines suggest dilation 2x a year....he is a very cautious doc... i know my current insurance only pays for it once a year but was curious as i will be on Medicare in sept if they pay for it 2x a year for being on plaquenil..

we will also have to start my baseline at 18 months as i am getting my records transferred but the doc said even if the images are transferred they are from dif machines etc...it would be hard to compare..he said that since its only been 18 months for me going on a new baseline would be ok..
