A loved one died and we buried him today. I was so glad I was not in a lot of pain and was not so exhausted that I couldnt be there or help. I was actually doing ok and was able to go through the whole service, help set up the food and clean after. I did not want his parents to have to deal with that. I am exhausted now. But it was nice to be useful. Especially in a situation like this. I know if it were me who lost a child, I would not want to have to clean up after the people when they left. I also like to stay busy so I dont cry...

Sorry to hear about your loss of a loved one. It's amazing how we muster up a little strength when we need to. Glad it worked out and you were able to help and be there for them.
So sorry to hear about your loss. I know you are so glad you were able to do this for his parents. You were a great blessing to them. That will help them through this.

Thank you. It is amazing how we can muster up some when we need. When i went to bed the night before, I told myself I needed to be in shape for it. So glad I was.
