Hello All.
I am looking forward to spring as everyone is after winter is over.
For me, I feel that getting outdoors with my gardening, getting out more often to walk, going to outdoor events, etc......helps me to try and shove my SJS to the back of my mind. In winter, my reading & indoor hobbies aren't intense enough to make me ignore my eye/mouth and feet symptoms.
Also the increase humidity level helps my eyes.
Anyone else relate to my findings on spring verses winter?

The weather in the spring even though it can be Stormy and rainy it doesn't have the cold weather. The cold really bother my joints. A lot of aches and pains. It just so nice to be able to go and just set outside and watch the birds and see the flowers blooming. You are right I too seem to be able to put my SJS out of my mind more when it's warm and there are things to do outside even if it just to sit out on the porch.
I look forward to spring and warmer weather every year. ;) As MadisonGranny said, the rainy stuff doesn't do me well either, but warm is good!
Getting outside more is nice, even if some days it only means sitting on the porch.

This is such a nice and positive way of saying that winter makes our symptoms worse! :)
I never quite thought about it this way, eye2dry! But I like it!
Yep, am looking forward to the spring as well! Love the blossoming of the trees, flowers and shrubbery.

I have mixed feelings!! I don't know what has happened to our weather lately, but it leaves us wondering.
I like winter cause I feel better when it is not hot. I don't like having to stay in the house all the time, but at least I don't suffer as much.
Summer is a great time of the year if it doesn't get too hot, but the humidity and high temp that seem to plaque us lately leave me sitting in the house just like I do in the winter, only feeling much worse. My myasthenia gets bad with the heat.
Nowwww---we are talking spring, which is wonderful and seldom lasts long enough for me. My most favorite time of the year is fall. I am entranced by the blue skies and crimson and gold leaves. I love the sound of the combines picking the corn and the tractors plowing the soil. That sound is really neat at night when the weather is crisp and cool. It makes me feel safe and comfortable.
So no matter what season is our favorite we still have to endure all the others. :o Irish
Summer gal here. When it gets wet, warm and cool (like it does in the spring for for that matter the way it has been here this winter) it seems there are more "bugs" in the air that attack me.
I have the hardest time with my SJS during Fall and Spring. Though this Winter hasn't done me any favors due to it being mild this year here in Eastern Iowa.
