Title: hey guys, it has been a while!
Post by: hootyhu1 on January 18, 2012, 06:03:15 PM
Hello all,

It has been a while since I have been on posting, chatting and whatever else.  So what has been keeping me off of here?????  Tons of stuff.

Unfortunately I have been sick with this cold for about 2 weeks. My new Rheumy has some ideas on being aggressive with my treatment on joint pain and some swelling.

My OB is very happy with my Gestational Diabetes (it has recently been treated with medication). I am 23 weeks along and so far we have a healthy baby BOY!!!!!!

I am hoping that everyone else is having a great time and I promise to keep in touch more-Hooty!!!!!

Congratulations on you baby boy.  I know it's very difficult to have a cold when you are expecting a baby.  I've had that experience 34 years.  Not much medicine one can take for it.  I just had to tough it out.  I wanted to give my son the best chance at life.

Glad to see you back, Hooty.  :)

So sorry you've had that cold to deal with while being pregnant. I know it can make you miserable.

That's such good news that your Gestational Diabetes is being treated well, and congratulations on your little boy!  Our daughter is also due in May (with a girl);  she will be 25 weeks this weekend.

Stop back and check in with us, and update us as to how you're doing, ok?
