Title: Salivary Gland effecting face inside and out
Post by: LouLou1981 on December 11, 2011, 08:26:08 PM
Having a salivary gland inflammation issue. I've had inflammations in the past, I thought they were really bad canker soars in the back of my mouth but with those I get a hard bump along my jaw line. I don't get those with the salivary gland issues.

I've noticed I'm having more salivary gland inflammations more, like once a month almost. Some bad, some not so bad.  This time around I noticed the one side of my mouth and throat are sore and slightly swollen, that side of my face is slightly swollen and I've had a headache on that side as well and that eye is having focus issues.

Has anyone else had this happen? Is this from pushing myself so much the past couple of weeks or do I need to talk to my Rheumy about my meds?

I know I've been pushing myself the past couple of weeks, so I was asking for something. I know I need to stop and just rest. When will I learn?

I had a bit of blur when I had my bad flare in April from howdry my eyes were.  My throat and submandibulars were very swollen. And my parotids. I had indeed pushed myself and also I was eating way too much sugar.

A flare maybe? Can you rest a few days? Try salagen to keep things moving?

Don't forget to wear your polar Fleece mumps scarf to bed each night.
