I have officially done way too much today, and now I'm exhausted and sore, lying in bed. Started out taking care of some of our critters, then moved on to making cranberry sauce and cooking squash. Organized records on ~50 alpacas and finished the squash. One of our alpacas is really sick, so I've been keeping a close eye on him... Waiting on the vet to get here to start an IV and I need to give him his 2nd dose of medication in an hour.
Really wish I could soak in the hot tub, but I don't have the energy to walk to it. Eyes and mouth really dry too... and I don't have the energy to do anything about it.
Forgot I also vacuumed part of the house too.
Sounds like you used aal your spoons before your got to the cranberries. It is amazing you could still post on the forum.
Don't even try to get in the hot tub when you're that tired. I find it is really difficult and painful to get back out when I'm feeling that bad. Laying down for a while is your best bet.
OMG arina,
too much doesn't begin to describe it.
Rest rest rest...............
Hugs
Elaine
Feeling any better Arina? I'm still trying to catch up and every time I think about having to go back to work tomorrow, I tear up.
Nara, I felt the same way Sunday, but here it is Monday and I'm past half way through. We're gonna make it. I'm putting my jammies on the second I walk in the house!
Yeah, I know. But I still have to stop by Target to pick up a script and get dinner and THEN go home and collapse. We made it. I've used up all my spoons today but I made it!
Took about 4 days, but I am feeling better physically. Still having some brain fog, which is annoying. Have a paper I need to write for genetics... glad I chose a relatively straightforward, easy topic.
Still have my poor sick alpaca to take care of, but at least he's not getting worse.
Think my plan for tonight is taking notes for my paper. Worry about homework and calling a new possible PCP tomorrow.
I think holiday are the easiest time to over do things. We went to my husband's sister for Thanksgiving and it took me all day Friday and part of Saturday to feel rested. And I didn't even cook anything just made salads. The only thing that tires me more is taking care of my granddaughter all by myself. She's a bundle of energy and always on the go and want me to go with her. ;D ;D ;D
