Dear Angels,
So, I had that CT Angiography which showed my aortic arch is good. Full of plaque and stuff from my arteriosclerosis, but that's not new news.
However a node showed up in my right lung. Gotta have a follow up CT in 6 months.
Well, I stewed a bit and then did some research.
Turns out my node is 5 mm (millimeters) and they don't start thinking about cancer unless the node is larger than 3 centimeters, which is waaaaaaaay bigger.
So, breathing in and out (I am calm) and realizing that it is highly unlikely that this node is anything to worry about, and if it is, we will find out on the next CT scan.
So it goes on the back burner, or maybe into shrink memory.
Hugs
Elaine
Glad to hear it! I have a tiny one for over 40 years (5mm) with no change.
YES, Joe!
Just the story I want to hear.
Thanks and hugs.
Elaine
Elaine,
I had one to and since I've had Kidney cancer, they CT scanned me every 6 months for two years. This last time the node was gone. It can be quite disconcerting when they find all this stuff. Great to hear you won't stress over it too much.
Anna
I'm so relieved for you, Elaine! Thanks for sharing good news. :)
