Me and my husband went to this event sponsored by our insurance a couple of days ago, and at this outside tent I went to they had some little things you could pick up. I got a chap stick and a bar of glycerin soap for me and my husband plus some pamphlets.
I have used the bar of glycerin soap a few days now on my face and it feels so soft, and less dry than when I use other soaps. I looked some up about glycerin, and the results I got on the internet are positive.
Have any of you used the glycerin soap? If so what results did you have, and do you think one name of it is better than another?
i want to get some more somewhere soon.

Susan, I have used glycerin soap in the distant past and it worked well. There is glycerin in a lot of the chap sticks that are on the market. If it works well for you that is good. I think if you just use the bar for your face and keep it in a soap dish that lets it drain and dry between using you should get a lot of moneys worth out of it. Good luck. Irish ;D
Thanks Irish :)

When I first got diagnosed by my immunologist he asked me what soap I used. I have always used Ivory. BUT he said most soaps dry you skin.
He told me to use Dove or a glycerine type soap as they were much much better for the skin, especially those with SJS
