My sweet 4 month old granddaughter had surgery this morning to correct her bilateral macrostomia.  Since she has started running high fever and has been rushed back in.  I am very concerned.  Thank you...sass

That's not off topic at all; your sweet dear baby girl is an important part of your life!  Please keep us posted and know that I will pray and hope for her best recovery.  These docs now can do amazing things; I'm sure she is in good hands.

thanks to all the answered Prayers ,Callie is doing much better tonight. Thank you everyone.  She still is so confused about not being able to put her hands in her little mouth as she has to wear arm splints to prevent it.  She seems so sad andI really arm missing her outgoing, flight personality.  She has always been so happy and laughs and smiles the time, but not so now.  Hoping this is just from anesthesia out fever.  only on Tylenol since yesterday. She does not seem in pain at all, so that isa Blessing.    sass

I'm so glad to hear little Callie is doing much better.  I'm sure that's confusing to her to not touch her mouth, and the splints are not pleasant to her.  She's so young she'll never remember any of this, don't you think?  But it's hard on Grandma to see her this way!  Wonderful that she doesn't seem in any pain.

I'll keep the prayers going for her recovery.  Take care of yourself, ok? And thanks for updating us.

CI am so sorry that I have not posted as late.  I did do an update shortly after surgery, but I noticed it did not post and got so discouraged after losing all that typing, I gave up.    Callie is doing well, though I have not seen her since going home after my week there.  Her smile seems to be stiff and rigid in the pictures and her eyes do not flirt and dance with happiness like before surgery.  They are coming this week.   Meanwhile my 7 yr old grandson is being sent to Texas Children's for testing for Tourette Syndrome.  Praying that we get good news.  My Dad has moved in with me and has taken several falls had to call ambulance and admit to hospital, now no driving (yay), full time walker and breathing treatments, I had sleep study and was told I never sleep longer than 15 mins.   Have severe sleep apnea. Have to go back for second study.  My blood pressure is sky high...200\110 sometimes higher, sometimes lower.  Constant pain.  Hubbie is having a lot of pain and is taking care of Dad, while I work.  Work is horrible as I get chewed out for missing when Dad is in hospital or Callie had surgery.  No Mercy there.  I used vacation and sick leave.  I am about to either have a stroke or explode.  But I refuse to be beat down.  I trust in God and continue my prayers.....Oh yeah, my daughter is expecting in March.  And Son, wife and Twins are moving 3 hours closer.   I will quit for now.

I am so sorry you have so much heaped on you.  I pray that Calli will continue to improve no matter how slow, and your grandson will be in my prayers as all of you are.

Here is my tough love: you have got to try and take better care of yourself.  If something happens to you where in the world would your family be? And your son is now moving closer, please please take care and learn to say "NO"

Cricket, you are so sweet.  I am so blessed in so many ways.  I really didn't mean to sound whiny, though after reading back, it did sound like it.  I wish I had NO as an option, though I did say no to a fun shopping trip with my daughter so I can give hubbie a break.  So see I did say no to someone. lol......you guys keep me going...really though, how are YOU?

saas, I don't know how I missed this thread but I did. I always forget to come to this section.

I am so sorry to hear about all the stuff ggoing on in your life. I will pray for all of your family. Prayer is being said for that grandbaby and healing. Don't give up on God as he anwers prayer in his time not ours.

Also, please take care of yourself. I hope that you are getting your blood pressure treated. Moms seem to get the brunt of a lot of the stress with dads a close second. Please keep us updated on things. Irish ;D

I appreciate you posting, even with all you have going on! My gracious, sometimes it just seems our lives are in chaos all the time.

My prayers continue for your health, your dear grandchildren and your father.  I hope the love and hope we can send you will give you some amount of comfort through all these trials.
