As you go about your daily business tomorrow, Sunday - September 11, 2011, please take some time to reflect on the all the innocent lives that were lost on that tragic day 10 years ago.
All the people who never in their wildest dreams imagined as they woke that day and went about their business - that their lives, and the lives of their families and friends would be forever changed.
To all the rescue personnel who traveled up the stairwells to offer assistance and help as employees headed down the stairwell. Anyone who serves the public - being it a police officer, fireman, port authority or others that were involved that day - each person put aside their own needs and families to help others.
Strangers helping strangers in their time of need.
I would encourage each person here in the U.S.A. to fly your American flag on Sunday in remembrance of our fellow Americans who died that awful day in our history.

In Canada, September 11 has been designated a "National Day of Service" in memory and honour of the losses that terrible day, and in memory of any small comfort local Canadians could offer to the thousands of travellers who were dropped into many Canadian communities by the "clear the air" order, by the arrival of multiple unscheduled cruise ships to non-designated ports, and by the closure of the land border crossings.
Flags in Canada, including the one on the Peace Tower in Ottawa, will be lowered to half mast.
It is hard to believe that was 10 years ago....such a tragedy that changed so many lives in a short amount of time.
Please keep all of the people who lost their lives that morning, their families/friends, and the heroes who ran in and helped people they never even met before in your thoughts and prayers.
This was an event that changed all of our lives forever and we should never forget it...
Twas a strange day indeed, I never thought I would ever see a day with no planes in the sky, when the second plane hit I called my son in Pearl Harbor, he ws upset that I woke him up, there 6 hours behind us,, I told him turn on the TV,, he dropped teh phone when he saw what was happening and we never heard from him for a month,, his Sub put to sea with about half the crew on it, he was Nuclear Reactor operator on his Sub, he told me it was the hardest start up they ever did,, no check list, just get everything up to speed and put to sea,, worry about the other stuff later
Yeah - remember every one who died on that day. 93 nationalities in all I believe. More British people died in that attack than died in the July attack on the Underground in London.
I am praying there will be no issues tomorrow in NY or Washington DC. Sometimes I cannot believe 9/11 is real. You are all in my prayers. Jill
