Unlike much of the country, we have had a very cool though dry summer, and are just now beginning to get summer weather, so everything is a bit behind years past.
I realize that gardening might seem to be an odd activity for someone with Sjogren's, since it can be hard on the joints and keeps you out in the sun, but my doctors approve (not that they could stop me anyway). I love being out in the dirt and seeing the results, and I can work at it as much or as little as I'm able. Although usually I end up doing more than I thought I could.
Anyway, enjoy.

I love all the colors - from the orange & white Lilies, pink Stargazers, Blue or Purple (I'm not sure which they are) Kikyou-Platycodon and the beautiful group of white Casablanca Lilies. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.
You have a wonderful talent with Mother earth!!
Like I've mentioned several times before, I sure wish you lived close by - it would be so serene to sit in your garden and enjoy all the beautiful flowers and plants you have there.
Obviously, it shows what a person CAN do who has Sjogren's. This disease can't take the beauty of your gardens away from you! Maybe you could spell out Sjogren's in flowers?!? ;)

I have tried to get pictures of all my flowers as they came into bloom this year. But I have very little compared to yours. Most came out pretty good. But I don't know how to share them. Right now, nothing is blooming, but it is green, green, green including all the weeds from all the rain in the past two weeks. :-\
Thanks for letting us see what can be done. My work in my flowers is done when that part of my yard is in the shade.
genko, Those pictures are just outstanding. So beautiful and so many different kinds of them.
I have a mental image of you crawling around with knee pads on carrying a bag lunch and many bottles of water so you can go out after breakfast and stay till supertime. You have many, many hours in those flowers. I hope you have had a garden tour so others can enjoy it.
By the way, where do you live? if I may ask. I see those star gazer lilys and wonder if you live in one of the southwestern states. Irish ;D

Irish, we are in the Seattle area. It's great for gardening because many years you can garden all year round, although the last three years have been a bit harsh in the winter. I do grow vegetables all year round, including in big pots on my deck, which can be brought under shelter if necessary. It is a perfect climate for lilies, as you can see.

An amazing garden! "Inch by inch..." I though the pictures were from the northwest. I looks like your garden is the result of a lot of love. So many points for meditation!

The white clematis looks like my Oh Henri. Mine has numerous blooms up to 6-9 inches across; think this might be your variety?
