as of this morning,, I am officially in a non walking mode,, I kept telling them about the neck pain when I stand up spreading to my legs and arms,, but no one wanted to listen,, now I cant walk 5 feet with falling,, even sitting just brings on pain,, my bowels finnaly gave up after I had to drink some citrate to get them moving,, no more hten about 5 days of food came out,, now I cant eat,, its weird, when I stand up I cant swallow,, and to add insult to injury,, this sinus surgery was not like I had hoped it would be,, its worse,, oh well,, thanks medicine, you ruined a good man,, Love to all of you

I'm sorry to hear that things are falling apart. I understand with the neck pain. I almost broke my neck when I was 11 and had bad whiplash at 21. It seems that since getting sick, my pain in my neck gets so intense that holding my head up hurts too much.
At one point I spent no less than three days on the couch, flat, because whenI stood up it hurt so bad, it made me nauseaus. I also have intestinal problems...
I really hope you start to feel better soon (I hate it when people say that...) but I really hope you get a rainbow in this storm.
Hi Really? so sorry that not much has been done to help you. I have been on this board for several years and I know that you have had a lot to deal with. It has to be frustrating to say the least.
I do hope that you will find a caring doctor to take care of you. This totally mystifies me.
Please don't give up and take care of yourself as best as you can.
I hope this doesn't offend you - but I am going to pray for you right now, after I type this. I can tell how discouraged and sick you are, and I know there is a miracle waiting for you out there. Please hang on. Many good people care about you.

And as I understand it there isn't really anything the doctors can do.
What ever you have is "off the radar" for medical science.
Well, it's a bunch of things, some of which have been made worse by misguided surgeries, like on your neck and your sinuses!
I know, cause I have the same problem: a whole bunch of things which SEEM connected, but no confirming blood tests for any illness.
Have you tried prednisone?
I hear that prednisone can alleviate a multitude of problems, without of course solving any of them!
AND, unfortunately prednisone can cause a multitude of problems, I know.
At this point you are not going to get any real satisfaction from any doctor.
I know that is so hard to take, especially when you are suffering so.
But when the Mayo Clinic couldn't find a way to identify some condition they could treat, I doubt if you'll find any other doctor who can.
And I KNOW that at this point, with the way our medical system works, any new doctor you see will be overwhelmed by your past problems and treatments. WHERE is Dr. House when we need him!?
I think you're at the point where you can only rely on your own will to go on, finding as many ways to relieve your own suffering as possible.
For such a proud, high achieving man like you, that is very very difficult to do. You want to fix these problems and get back to your life.
I wish I could make that happen for you.
But all I can do is stand by helplessly and send you messages of caring and understanding.
