Hi everyone. Sorry I've been away so long. Family and health problems have been keeping me busy.
The SVT is back again and I am hooked up to a heart monitor for 3 weeks. Two down, 1 to go. Geez, this thing is annoying. :D My cardiologist thinks I'm looking at a PaceMaker in the near future, but I will cross that bridge when I get to it. ;D
Sure hope everyone is doing well and keeping their sense of humor. Don't let this stuff get you down.
I miss you all so much, you are in my prayers everyday.
"Fred" and I are still struggling with who is going to win this walking game. He still insists I dance to his tune, and there are times when I must, but I keep fighting him. ::) Last week I fell in the bedroom and called my hubby to come help me get up. Well, he tried and I kept losing my muscle control to stand. By the time I finally got up, we were both laughing so hard, we could hardly catch our breath. We just sat down on the bed and laughed some more. Thank goodness for the soft carpet, I didn't hurt myself.
I hope you all are doing well and still keeping some humor in all this crap. :D Don't let this stuff win. Keep fighting! I know sometimes it is not easy to do, heaven knows there are times I would like to throw in the towel, but some how I keep putting one foot in front of the other.
Hugs, Love and God Bless, Pooh
Welcome Back.
It's great to have you posting, Pooh! :) I miss your wisdom and humor.
Great big welcome back hug,
Cheryl
Well, dear friend . . . pull up a soft, cushy chair and make yourself at home! We've missed you.
There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of you (and you know why). ;)
Sorry to hear you fell, but glad your fall was on soft carpet and you didn't get hurt.
Hmmm, I'm not sure when the next season of Dancing With The Stars is on, should you put your name in as a dancer?!? :D
Take care - good to hear from you.
Hugs,
Bucky
Yay Poochie!
Keep us posted.
Hugs
Elaine
Poochie, your post lightened my heart and brought a smile to my face.
Your strength of will is so humbling to me and your outlook on life is absolutely wonderful and moving. We all need more people like you in our lives!
Sending peaceful and uplifting thoughts to you!
Hugs,
Daisy

So glad to see you back here posting although I'm sorry to hear that you fell on the floor becasue of Fred! Gosh darn him anyway...lol!
Welcome back my friend! :)
Poochie, welcome back! ;)
I suppose I wasn't around when you were here previously, but I see what everyone means by missing your humor and what a great outlook on life you have. No wonder you've been so missed!
I wish you luck with those new dance moves with Fred. Hopefully, your time with that heart monitor goes faster for the last week and you have a good report.
Take care,
Melinda
Pooh,
You make me smile BIG,
I have not been as connected here as much as I would like to either.
Seeing your post today reminded me of how nurturing you were in my beginnings.
And your humor always uplifting.
I am having special prayers for you right now. I believe we dance in our hearts together.
Love, hugs and blessings, kimbo
poochie, I was just thinking about you when I cruised through this thread. Wow, I couldn't believe I caught you here.
Darn, back to your old tricks are you---and still dancing with Fred---and still laying around on the floor waiting for your beloved to pick you up---and still laughing with your beloved. I miss you so much on this site.
I hope that you will get rid of all the extra equipment. I was thinking about your theother day and wondering if you had a pacemaker. I know that you had the heavy duty treatments but never heard you mention about a pace mqker. I have wondered if some of the other members were candidates for pace makers.
Please take it easy and get better---well, get improved, or something like that. We old ladies can still have some fun can't we. Take care and keep posting once in a while. Hugs Irish ;D ;D
Pooh, you just put a smile on my face. We've all missed you in our own way--but I was hoping you would show up again--what's that saying? We are so glad you did. Now I have another person to be silly with. Lucy
So lovely to hear from you again, Pooh!
Try not to be worried about the possibility of having a Pacemaker fitted. Since you were last here I've had heart surgery - two valves replaced last September - so I can reassure you that you'll be fine! In fact, it will probably give you a new lease of life, as my operation did for me.
How's all the family? I miss your stories of their visits, the meals that emerged from your crockpot etc. And the bargains you get at Garage sales. Any recent triumphs?
Thinking of you - Chickpea
Thanks everyone for the kinds words and greetings. I miss you all so very, very much. I wish I could have continued my time with SW, but life hands you changes and you have to go with flow. ;D
I will try to get back more, now that I have my trusty little notebook puter. :) I love, love, love this little thing..
Take care everyone and I'll try to come back more and keep you updated on the "Perils of Pooh". :D
Hugs, Love and God Bless,
Pooh
