I hope all the folks on this forum have a safe, fun and healthy July 4th. If you can't have those things, make it the best you can. I have relatives from PA here in Michigan for a couple of days and staying here, but at my sisters house. :-)......Had much fun today just chucklng about old times etc. Really miss my sister being with her family, but she passed in '09 and it's really good to see everyone.

Same to you, dear! Sounds like you are enjoying your company. It's so nice to get together with family and just reminisce sometimes.
The summer seems to be a time when we talk about my FIL a lot. He loved to be out on a boat, fish and spend time with his wife, kids and grandkids. He's was the greatest guy and best father-in-law you could ask for.

There's nothing like that familiar, comfortable feeling that comes from looking at family and knowing that genes live on. There's a bit of us in each of our family members. Happy 4th of July to all in the USA. Wish I was there to celebrate with you in one of my favourite countries on earth.
