I love my electronic "toys"...currently have an Ipod and my computers of course...but am now really thinking about getting an iPad. I saw one that someone had at work...pretty cool!
Does anyone out there have an iPad? How do you like it? Any recommendations or concerns?

I know what you mean Lynnmarie, I too love my electronics and have been eyeing the IPAD myself (hope to have one by the end of the year or so).

No one out there has an iPad? Surely some of you do.....lol! I need some feedback to help me make my decision... ;)
I would love to get an iPad - I'd use it for ebooks and pdfs. And Internet use during those times I have to lie on the couch. (My sister has MS and loves it for that reason) The maps app would be great in traveling (the iPhone maps is way too small to be useful in real time). And video calling. But none of these reasons was compelling enough to buy one because I'd still need to bring a laptop on travels in order to be able to work. Last week I found a great justification for one - there's an app that will allow the iPad to become a second monitor for a laptop, effectlvely increasing the screen size of the laptop - which would be great for my work - I could load up a pdf on the ipad and then do editing on the laptop. Now, I just need to save up for it!
I have an Ipad. I call it my geriatric Ipod LOL so big. But I do love it very much. The new one they just released in Canada is a bit lighter and thinner than the one I have. If I had one complain it would be the weight of it. Tires the old hands out.
