I'm not real great on the computer so there may be a way to do this easier. There is a post that is called "Anyone live in Arizona?" Then there is a person here who I saw stated she's from Holland. It made me think...I wonder where all of us are from and where we were born. Not exactly the city but like...I live in Oregon and that is also where I was born. I feel like we are all friends but I don't know where people are. It's amazing to me to be talking with people from all over the world. I think I saw Sydney once too....Amazing!

I call myself a country gal who got spoiled by the city conveniences. Though I am not a winter or camping type person, I love the outdoors and enjoy the little small town atmospheres. But I just couldn't get used to driving 15-10 miles for groceries, gasoline, drs, vets, etc etc. Due to the job situation, I have to work and live in the city.
But if I won the lottery, I'd definitely move to a small Iowa town.
Looove the Midwest. You can talke to perfect stranger waiting in line and they don't look at you like you escaped from the funny farm or a nearby spaceship. LOL

For the last 20 years: Western Washington - across Puget Sound from Seattle. I was born in New England and went to high school and college in California.
I was born in Missouri, but also lived in Nebraska, Iowa and Minnesota growing up. I am now in Texas and have been here for the last 26 years. I like Texas, but do miss the friendly midwest. (and the cooler summer months there!)

I figured the question was generic enough. Not like I was asking for the town, street address or anyones social security number. Just wondered what parts of the world my friends are in. As far as security, I just don't know. I don't like to tell too much, but nowdays I think anyone can find out anything on anybody if they want to take the time. It isn't right, but how in the heck does a person stop it. Curl up in a ball and watch the world go away!!!! Irish ;D

I love these threads! I was born in Birmingham, in the West Midlands of Great Britain/UK/England. Moved to Cambridge when I was 2, and stayed there for school and university. Got married and moved to Brighton on the south coast, about an hour from London.
In between I lived in Poitiers, France for a year and Harare, Zimbabwe for two years. I've worked in Poland and travelled in the USA when two of my children studied there.

I was born in Milwaukee, Wis.. then on to Northern California till age 11..Then we moved to Arizona and It has been home ever since however, in 2008 due to my husbands job field and a job layoff ( heavy equip oper)
we are now living in a 5th wheel and have been to many cities in Az for short jobs. Currently the job has taken us from Globe, Az to New Mexico for the summer it's a change of pace. It would be nice to settle back down in AZ but for now we never know where the work may take us..... :-\
