Title: Dear Mother Nature . . . . .
Post by: Bucky on May 11, 2011, 03:40:53 PM
Dear Mother Nature,

Please, please, please . . . could we all have a break for a bit?

We've had tornadoes, floods, tsunami's, drought, fires . . . and the list goes on.  It's no wonder people suffer from post traumatic syndrome - many homes and businesses are a total loss.

As I type this, there is a storm just across the Illinois River heading my way.  The poor people in the South don't need any more rain as there is vast flooding there already.

Anything you could do to help - would be truly appreciated.

Thanks,
Bucky

Bucky, Sweet Bucky,

Even the clouds are butting heads down our way! Mother Nature sure has her hands full.    ;D

And, the lightning displays are like the big fireworks I saw in the Big Apple...one flash and streak, one flash and streak, one flash and streak, one flash and streak, one flash and streak, one flash and streak ,one flash and then streaks with many, many fingers for more than 30 minutes without interruption!   ::)

We had 70 mile an hour winds last night. All the leaves on the trees  today looked as if they were praying to the weather gods!

Never in my 50 years here in the Southeast have I seem such a springtime!  And, you folks up North spoke of your horrible winter last year... :(

Folks, we just gotta take it One Day At A Time.... newjoy walking in newhorizons! :P

It was a very windy and dry day here in the west.  I was standing on the street corner waiting for the light to change, and saw a ten foot wall of dirt headed my way.  All I could do was close my eyes tight and hold my breath.  My eyes were in fine shape after that.  And guess where I was headed...to my opthamologist appointment! ;) Cough!

I'll second that request for a break from Mother Nature! It's been crazy weather...
