Hi everyone :)
Back home and somewhat disorientated!
Had a lovely time meeting my grandson, who decided to take a huge developmental leap forward while we were there, which was lovely to experience. He learned to crawl - he started pulling himself up to a standing position on anything that was the right height and he decided he wanted to feed himself when ever possible. He is a strong determined little soul, who is very friendly, hardly ever cries and was a pleasure to be around. I'm really going to miss him! His parents are doing a good job.
Take care - Scottie :)
Welcome home Scottie ;D
I'm glad you had a good time in the States. You didn't sneak the baby out with you and take him home? :o Thank goodness for modern technology so you can "see" your grandson grow and learn new things via Skype (sp?) and pictures posted on the internet. Not the same as being there in person - but, you get to still "see" him.
I didn't know whether you have ever experienced all the storm warnings in the UK like you did on your visit here. This year is not typical of our spring weather. We've had one storm after another now for weeks. I'm thankful you and your family were safe during the storms.
Hoping you have a few days to recoup from your travels before you head back to work.

I know it must feel good to be home. It's neat that you were witness to those developmental milestones! I hope you can see all of them often in the future. Rest well!

Welcome home Scottie!
I'm glad that you enjoyed your time here in the states and spending valuable time with your family (especially that little grandson of yours). :)
I'm so glad that you got to see that grandbaby. I feel bad that you have to be far away from him but am thankful that you were able to see him. Do you have a web cam??? Seeing your grandson would be a good reason to buy one. Irish ;D
Hi Scottie
I'm so glad you're home safe and sound, and that you had a wonderful trip. I hope you can get some days to sleep and recover from jet lag. It took me a couple of weeks to recover from the exhaustion of our trip, but it was worth it.
Have a restful weekend.
Take care - Chickpea
