Does anyone here currently play wow? I can't play long because of my eyes but I try to occasionally.
I'd like to but $15 a month is steep. I play Guild Wars on occasion if someone else plays this PM me and we can try to go on a quest together ;D

I've played most of the MMOs out there, (several hundred), and WoW was just too dull for me. It didn't add anything to the genre.

I wrote a couple of early D&D games but since those and the other games I wrote so many years ago I seem to have no interest in them.

Does it hurt your eyes after a while? It gets unbearable for me at times.
It's awesome how many responses I got! At least we can have some sort of life. Even if it isn't our own.

I'm sorry you can't enjoy it. That sounds terrible! It's one thing for my eyes to stop me but just not enjoying it would be aweful!
Yep it does .. They get very dry and tired. I pace myself and not take it too seriously. Takes me longer to get around, finish stuff but I manage. The biggest problem I have is finding someone who also likes to take a leisurely pace with frequent breaks.
I use Restasis twice a day. I also use Refresh lubricant gel which I find acts just like greasing a bearing. And of course I also use the refresh drops.

I'm just now getting back into it and I know exactly what you mean! My major problem is my eyes. I'm just now getting back into it. No one but people who have dry eyes know what the pain is like. I just started on a new server with a friend of mine.
Also I've learned that turning the brightness all the way down helps for me.
sounds like a plan to me. Well maybe we can make some toons together. :) I am on the west coast of Canada for time frame.

Sounds good! I'm in east side America on eastern standard time. The part that sucks is that I don't usually get off work until around 130 am. But I'm good on my days off. And I'm not sure of the time difference from America and Canada.
seems to be about a three hour difference between us. Right now it is coming up 5pm. Pacific Daylight saving time
It's 8 here. I'll be off by the time it's 11:30 where you are. But I'm not always off that late either. I'm off work Saturday. We should talk about possibly doing it then if you can.
