Title: Happy Mother's Day to our UK Mother's
Post by: Bucky on April 03, 2011, 02:30:29 PM
The day is almost over for our friends in the UK, but HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all our Mums and Grandmums (is that what they are called there?).

Hope your families treated you like the royalty you all richly deserve to be treated like!!   ;D

Hi Mrs Bucky

Thank you for your good wishes. I'm usualloy  'grandma' to my grandchildren. My mum is Nanna Mac (altho she is their great grandma) and my grandchildren's paternal grandma is known as 'nanny'. HOwever, I like my little grand-daughter's name for me,  'Mama'.

Thanks Bucky  :)

I got a card and a phone call from one daughter and a text message from the other. My son caught me on MSN. The son that is in the US is unaware that it's mother's day but I had a video call with him today so was 'talking' to my grandson. At least i heard from all four kids in one day which is quite unusual these days!

Take care - Scottie  :)
