That's Dr. Doolittle, by the way. :P
Now my poor yellow lab requires a regiment of eye drops, anti-inflammatories, more eye drops, then antibiotic eye drops. Seems his "brother", the black pug, scratched his cornea. So I spend my day dispensing meds...first for me.....then for the dog... then me again ???
What's next? The budgie develops laryngitis?
Have a good weekend everyone! ;D
Awwwww...hope your doggie is feeling better soon! Your being a good mom! ;)
We have had 3 budgies...laryngitis wouldn't be completely BAD. :D We have a Green Cheeked Conure...wowie.
That's funny. A CAT with four birds. ::)
I know what you mean about the noise. We have had three budgies at once as well.
hehe, Carebear...well, We also have dogs and 2 cats. One cat... >:(...killed one of the budgies when it got into my daughter's room, and one died of diabetes, per the Vet..weird, huh??...and one we took back because (YES..yet another bird...) the cockatiel (spelling??) didn't like it.
We ALSO had ...omg, I know...an African Grey...I taught that bird so many words, and phrases. I loved him. Then, one day I came home and my daughter had sold him. It WAS her bird, but I was attached to him...
Concerning teh zoo situation at our home..my daughter was a pet groomer and loves animals. ;)
I understand. I have cats and thankfully I have not heard of any of them needing a Whisker-ectemy. LOL
Years ago I had an indoor/outdoor cat that got an abcess on his back. He had stiches, it had to drain and not scab over, salve on the back and pills in the mouth. Sorry but it is heck pilling a cat.
Last year I had 3 days where dr told me to stay at home laying down as I had a bad back strain - muscles would clench up baaaad. I was using my mother's old walker to get to the bathroom.Oh gosh it was a chore cleaing the cat's litter box. :o ;)
Just remember you love that lab of yours - in sickness and in health. I am sure he loves you that way too.
Just wish people were more like that!
:) Mother-in-law tongue may be useful in quieting your house hold. Talk to your vet about dosage. :)
Please do not do this to your pet!
JOE! :o LOL...My mom has that plant...and a cat....that she doesn't like... :o
