Title: Underarm pain/weakness
Post by: Rose G on February 23, 2011, 08:18:02 AM
Just wondering if anyone else experiences this.  It started as a "weak" feeling but sometimes I would also say it is painful.  Tylonl helps some.  I feel them all the time and there are no lumps.  I see my gyno next week and will bring it up to her.  Due for a mammo in April, but will go sooner if she says too.  I have a feeling it is from SS, like affecting my lymph glands there.  Just another strange thing and pain that I don't need.

Are you still ovulating/menstruating?  I feel when about to start my cycle, I'm very tender in my breats and it extends to just the outside of my underarm area as well.  I usually wear a sports bra over my regular bra for extra support just to help eliviate the pain around that time.

But still a good idea to get your gyno to check.

Hi Rose G, I have had this problem foryears now,

I think it is as you said, definately from SS, pain in the pit of arm and sometimes goes into the breast.

Mine is the right armpit, and Iam righthanded so it can get uncomfortable when using that arm

Do let the Doc know tho'  I go regularly for my screening so it is on the record there.
Just had that a month ago and all was well.   Dolly
