               hi all,

last week i started with what i thought was another chest infection, then on fri i started vommiting every half

right through to sat morning,i thought i was dying(exasteration) so my hubby rang the emergency docs who

after an assestment said it was gastric flu,my hubby got me some anti sickness tablets which thankgod

stopped the sickness but i still felt like i was dying, fever, pain, the most horrendous headache ever, plus still

this chest infection and awfull cough, this morning i started another coughing fit but up comes the biggest

mouth full of phlegm ever so i spat it out in some tissue and and it was full of blood, then the same thing

happened another 4 times ,so i just wanted to know if its normal to have blood in it or not?

If there is blood coming from anywhere and a band-aid will not stop it (like from insides) Call your doctor, on call nurse or ER. This is not something to play with!

hi Lizzi  :)

You need to get this checked out and probably have a chest x-ray. I've had this happen in the past and everything has been OK but it does need to be investigated.

Take care - Scottie  :)
