Okay, Here is the link for Spoon Theory. What you are saying indicates that you are not practicing it or understanding it or maybe you have not read it but you need it.

For your tummy issues, the tones here should help.
http://www.chakraforce.com/Tonations.html#107.
Just click on the number in the {} braces to play the tone. They are 30 second tones that should be played for 3 min each.

I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL..
Worked 12 hour shifts Wed, Thurs, Fri, cleaned house (5 bed/ 4bath), washed sheets, towels, clothes, grocery store, cooked for the whole week, went out with friends to watch football, got up cleaned more, scrubbed my bath and boys bath on hands and knees (boys are nasty), got ready for work Tues (12 hour shift and really busy day at hospital), boss says I look bad, and had to pick up middle child from school(severe bleeder) take him to doctor to sit there for 6 hours to get 2 rounds of Platelets and 3 rounds of Novoseven. Home to heat up dinner, give youngest bath, get ready for work Wed (12 hour shift) and still busy at work. Come home, not feeling good, hurt hurt hurt, try to sleep.. UP ALL NITE NOW SICK...This isn't FAIR
I am out of spoons until February. :'(

Believe me, I am not supermom. I just stay up at night to get a lot of things done. Now I know why my mother look so haggard all the years I was growing up. I don't mean to be so anti-anything, but I don't like the holidays. I cook, clean, pick the mess up and so on then your family wants to know why you won't do stuff with them.
I have called in to work a lot of times. (mental days)
I lay on the floor when I can't move until the pain goes away and I get up and start more work.  This is wearing on me because I look into the mirror and I see someone looking older than her years. (My mom 76 and my grandmother 96) Mom looked so old for a while there, now she looks younger than her age. She takes care of my grandmother and helps me with my children and takes care of my crazy-fun dad. So maybe I get her strength to go on. BUT BEFORE PROVIGIL, I did none of these things. I was wiped out.
Provigil does help! But I still HURT

I am sorry guys, all that stuff was wed, thurs, fri, sat, sun, mon and tues.  Sunday afternoon until 12mn and all day Monday cleaning floors. So Tuesday at work my boss said I looked bad then took my child to get platelets. So I sat for 6 hours and I fell asleep while he played video games.  It does seem a lot but really it is not. I am not good at giving my kids stuff to do because I want to have the control. If that makes sense. Now I paying for it today, so I am at home sick.

Still dain,, thats  still a lot to do,, I really admire you for getting it done,, I;m happy that today I was able to strip my bed down and wash the sheets,, the laundry is downstairs,, through the game room,, down a hallway and then walla,, the laundry room, by that time i;m ready to take a nap, something I learned,, when carrying laundry upstairs,, put the basket a few steps ahead of you instead of carrying it all the way up,, just dont drop it on a dog,, my poor doxie got a basket full of sheets when he was laying at the top of the steps and I never saw him, untill he yelped,, hehates me now,, until I say wanta treat?

I started the Plaquenil a few months ago and started having more energy, and it is a double edged sword... I have a bit more energy but enough energy to hurt myself more.  I have to remind myself to not do too much.  It is really hard because we truly PAY for doing too much.  Using up more spoons than we have is really a bad deal, because the spoon collector is vicious in collecting his debt...

I can totally relate...

Yes!  That is totally me.  I think I am finally finding that balance..but am constantly reminded when I do just a little too much, over estimate what I can do.  I was just bragging about feeling well and then bam...went back to work Monday, had a stressful day and felt yucky Tuesday.  Not too bad, but definitely not what I was bragging about.

Tired of it...sorry you are still "recovering" from you weekend.  Don't put yourself down that you can't do a lot.  Make those little accomplishments enough for your day.  I know it is easier to say it than to do that, but that's all you can do.  I hope you can bounce back some and feel relief.

I now have learned to let the older boys make up their bed and not go in there to look at the beds. I still make up my bed and my daughters, but now I make them take towels, sheets, clothes, vacuum, and all the things upstairs. That has helped. Plaquenil has not given me any energy, but it has slowed some progression of ANAs.
Let me just say I FELT SOOO GUILTY NOT HAVING THE ENERGY TO DO WORK, now I don't, it is a part of who I am at this time in my life.

I so know what ya mean by the just enough energy to hurt yourself....actually constantly pay for how much I take on! With all my kids and their activities...I am ALWAYS going SOMEWHERE or 4 or 5 SOMEWHERE'S a day besides work with 10 VERY ACTIVE autistic children!

Ever be 35 and have to PLAY like an 8 year old?? Uh...let me just say my body HATES me sometimes!!LOL :D

PS...soccer is about to start for 2 of mine, so 4 nights a week practice and 2 (sometimes 3) games on the weekends unless it is a tournament...then it is 3 to 4 a weekend!! :o

Sha who is on a heating pad for good reason ;) I think sometimes we are are own worst enemies! ;)

**** it's a total b*****d, having to get used to doing so much less than we used to. The house ends up a tip, we feel we let our kids down when we can't shlap them here and there all the livelong day, (or we do it anyway and feel even worse and bitter about it to boot),  and we wake up feeling just as bad as when we lay down at night.

I cut my own hair, wax my own legs, never get new clothes or anything else, economise on everything possible, don't eat out or go to the movies, (too wrecked anyway but still) - so that I can have a cleaning lady scrub my tile floors, kitchen and bathroom every fortnight and a guy to cut the lawn. Guys, try it. There's no going back.

If it gets to the point where we seriously can't afford help in the house, we'll have to sell it and move the 4 of us into a tiny apartment that I can manage myself. I REFUSE to go back to trying to keep this pile of bricks sanitary on my own. It took all my spoons, and then some.

I wanna try to LIVE life, not exist on the level of a plankton.

Have anyone noticed how old you look when you look in the mirror? Or do you think you look older than you should?
I DO!
I am younger than my husband, but I bet people think I am older. Plus many think I am nonsocial. Hey when you have pain and you are concentrating on moving, its hard to notice other people around you. I am also a product of the generation of southern women who did most everything in the household, while the husband went to work. (I used to mow the lawn, too. Only thing I can't do is work on my car. :)) So I guess what I am saying is that I still think I need to do everything. I need to stop or I will make my kids spoiled and lazy.
Okay I am being melancholy. Not good. :'(

dainbramage, When I worked at a major telecom, I was able to modify my hours with the help of the union and FMLA.

Flutterfly, @ 35 yo, B4 AI, I was carded & peeps accuse me of using bros ID.

Sorry, I tried, but can seem to do it your way. The age thing always bothered my wife. We are a few months apart and until this illness hit I looked like I was in my late teens or early 20's. One massage therapist that I volunteer with people think he is my older brother. He just turned 40 and I am 57. By the way I am an only child.

I am an only child, too.  ;D
It maybe these last 2 months have been so rough between me and my child's health that I think I look older. I don't know.
I really haven't had time to take care of myself. So maybe I'm feeling down? CHOCOLATE TIME ;D

Chocolate, mmm. I find that for me two Dark Side M&M's are just as good as two percoset for relieving pain.

It only takes to for the same level of pain relief. A whole bag can last a few days.
