Well, My Oh My, What can I say. What a great group you are. Thanks so much for all the great wishes. The only thing is that it is too bad I didn't check out this social section yesterday on my birthday. ::) ::) :P :P 8) 8)

I can't say that it feels any different to be 68 years old. Actually, I feel like 78 years old a lot lately. Which is pretty scary as my Mom died when she was 78. Man, where did the years go???

NOW, I am sorry to say that there was no cake. HOWEVER, there was a trip to the DQ by my hubby(with a coupon no less) for a Blizzard. I had a medium Snickers blizzard and enjoyed every bite of it in spite of being diabetic. You are only 68 oncne, right. I told hubby that I wondered just how much Blizzard a person could eat in one sitting before they got sick of it. Man, they are sooooo good.

Well, got that over for another year and thanks for the party. Irish

Mmmmmnnnnmm....Blizzards... ;D Doesn't even matter that it's freezing outside, does it?

I'm glad you enjoyed. Joe started a party for you here and you arrived fashionably late. he hee
You are a special lady to all of us!

You guys are all the best. What a great bunch of invisible friends.

If I could I would buy you all a Blizzard! I am so hungry for them. Every once in a while I buy one of the "fake blizzards" from MacDonalds, but they aren't the same. They are good but just don't have the zing the DQ does. However, the MacD are a whole lot cheaper!!

You all need to make plans to have a party on Thursday and Friday. The temp is supposed to go down and be downright really cold. Time to bundle up with some popcorn and a movie. Blessings on you all. Irish ;D

Thanks Kathy. Hope you are staying warm. It is cold in southern Minnesota but not as cold as up North--it as 46 below zero last night up there. I remember many 30 below nights but that was many years ago. Could this be global warming??? Irish ;D

Irish

It's relatively mild here today  in northern England. The temp on my car was+3 degrees at 10 am. Feels almost tropical:) Mind, I'm still suffering with the Raynauds,, and considering going for a shuggle under the duvet with the electric blanket on:)

Shuggle, hmm, is that a combination of shag and snuggle or snog and snuggle or ... ? I am trying to keep up with the British idioms that I hear. Please help me out.

A blizzard is very rich and sweet.  I hope you enjoyed yours Irish!!!!  I have maybe had a blizzard a half dozen times in my life.  It's only because I try and put things like that out of my mind.  I try to keep hubby and me away from Dairy Queen, but likely would get a cone and hubby would be looking at the "rich" stuff.
