Here is something I found on the internet for you to ponder:
Chocolate is made from cocoa, cocoa is made from beans, we all know beans are vegetables, so chocolate counts as vegetables! Therefore, eat 5 servings daily. ;D
Sounds like a plan to me!! :D
Enjoy your veggies!!
Bucky
Oh Bucky, I'm more than delighted to learn this!
Headed to the kitchen right now....forget V-8.....looking for a Hershey Kiss!
Love to you, dear one!
Janna
My aunt used to make novelty chocolates that looked like fruits such as strawberries, bananas, oranges, apples, etc. from milk chocolate painted with colored white chocolate. She said "you could tell your mother you ate fruit at my house." lol
YUMM Bucky, fancy you finding that out lol ::)
This is great!! Lucky me my son just started working at the Chocolate Room!!
My DH brought Nutella into this house... :P sooo good
Aw Bucky, a topic right down my little ol tummies way! Chocolate, the nectar of life! :D
My goodness Parrot, that sounds like your aunt had the "most popular" house in town! I know I would have planted my self there! ;) ;D
Patze
I LOVE your way of thinking, Bucky!
I swear that a bite of Hershey helps me with some saliva production; see, that's why it's good for me. ;D Not to mention, it's so heavenly...
Hugs and smiles,
Melinda
I'll mention this one to the wife, she will love it ;D
Me personally, never touch the stuff ;)
Ahhhh, glad we are all eating our vegetables! ;D
mink - I've never heard of the Chocolate Room . . . sounds like I room I could work in!
You know that little song Mary Poppins sang, "just a spoon full of sugar helps the medicine go down, medicine go dowwwwwwwwwn, medicine go down"? Well, I think we should now substitute the word chocolate (or veggies ;)) for sugar. We sjoggies will do a scientific study to see if this doesn't help our medicines to go down easier.
As always, the rules are . . . break the chocolate in half and the calories leak out. ;D
Bucky
You mean you didnt know chocolate was a major food group? :) I have given up all gluten, most dairy, most egg products, can and will not give up my chocolate(in moderation of course...well most days anyway!)
RobinBat,
My hubby has been saying that chocolate was a major food group for a long time. I guess I was just behind the times.
I am sure there was a study done that proved the Extra Dark Chocolate was good for you.
yES, an ounce a day of dark choc. recommended, high in antioxidents or some such....good enough reason for me.... :)

Have I got a deal for you fellow Sjoggies . . . . .
Shhhh, don't tell my hubby or son, but I got a bag of Hershey's Kisses on clearance. According to the bag, there are approximately 54 pieces in this bag. So, I will give 4 pieces each to JannaLee, Parrot Pat, Bopeep, mink, dbab, Patze, Melds56, cremer, RobinBat and Pisces24. That will take up 40 pieces. The other 14 . . . . ARE MINE!!! ;D
You will be responsible for getting your 5th piece on your own!! ;)
I'm more of a milk chocolate gal versus dark chocolate. Although, I do like Mounds bars that are dark chocolate.
Enjoy . . . .
Bucky
