Title: Do you know what your doc is billing for? ICD9 codes...
Post by: Sha on January 09, 2011, 10:26:56 PM
You can see what all your docs are billing your insurance for as a dx this way! I used to do medical transcription and one of my billing buddies told me how. All bills and hospitals should have one of the ICD9 codes on them so if ya ever wondered what they were billing for when they can't give ya any answers...check your bills!

When my rheumy  ordered all those labs...at the bottom it read 720 inflammatory spondyloapathy and he had stated he was leaning towards ankylosing spondylitis.

different ways to search through the codes

Maybe your docs have dx ya without ya knowing!lol
