Right now, I hve no desire to eat,, since my sinuses were so screwed up by the inept ENT,, my mouth is constantly full of the goo,, and eating makes it worse,,, Iknow,, I need to rinse them out,, and I do,,, but the ethmoid sinuses are gone,, all cut out,, thanks to the first ENT who butchered them,, (that is one doctor I wold not mind doing sinus surgery on)
I hate dropping eating utensils and after eating,, gagging for 10 minutes,, and having the food just lay tehre,, tomorrow is our anniv and we always went to red lobster, and now I cant,, I just cant do it,, standing in line,, eating to much,, benig cold,, and just not able to do it,, its really depressing,, and I am losing notches on my belt,, cant tighten it up much more,,
NavyDad, I envy your loosing notches in your belt, but I would not want the goo or throwing up. Loosing the waste size that way in not correct. Are your sinuses infected from the surgery? I hope that you find something that helps.
Joe,, there chronically infected with something or other,, they culture it,, and were back on some kind of antibiotic,, last time it was MRSA again,, but I have had aspergillius in there,, had it in my ear canals,, I cant filter out anything,, its like having two holes in your face that dont do a thing,,when the new ent did the revision surgery,, he had to go to the skull base to get rid of the infection and clean up the mess the first one did,

Sorry to hear this. Chronic infection can not be good. Do you have issues with dry mouth? I wonder if that could be compounding the issue.
My appetite was moot since I had diarrhea for a month, but now it's coming back-- just in time to tempt me.
I know what you mean about the anniversary. I just went to my husband's X-mas party and was worried about eating. Didn't feel like getting ready and standing all night, talking to people was heck. But hopefully you gather up a bit of energy to enjoy it. I am sick of the cold too!! We are thinking about going to Florida for X-mas (except I have a colonoscopy for Thursday, HO, HO. HO). Maybe next week-- it's cold there too. :-[

It can happen. If you were checked .. get checked again.
Thrush has a high false negative in the testing.
