The article made me laugh but it is true.
It has a earthy taste,,, what do they do,, empty out litter boxes,,,
gosh I can make some money back after all the $$ I spend on cat litter! LOL ;D
Geesh. I guess if you make it expensive enough, someone will think it is good.
Gross!!! but I have to admit Iv tasted coffee like that in a ordinary coffee shop lol.
You have to wonder just HOW they discovered seeds from poo made good coffee.
Drinking recycled amimal waste AND paying $25.00 a cup.
I dont think so somehow. Hey naydad give it a go and let us know if you start to bark or moo lol. Im guessing it would be right after you threw up.
This is hysterically funny. People actually pay good and an outrageous amount of money to drink this stuff?
Does anybody have any idea just how bacterial this is, and to say it's been "recycled," my answer is "really?"
Bopeep said it very well - "gross."

Well, I've heard of some coffee made from beans found bird poop.

but now cats?
I understand tho, that the birds get the better beans at the top of the trees.
Shall we do a taste test comparison?

makes me glad that i dont drink coffee
I've heard about this. Makes you wonder just where people leave their brains. If we had to drink the darn stuff we wouldn't, but paying a fortune makes it the "in" thing. Yuk!!!Irish ;D
Just. plain. gross! lol...Think I'd rather have this.... :-\
Too be honest if we really knew what was in our processed foods, we wouldn't be eating it.
But everyone is hooked on the convenience now.
Well, there's more. My husband and I are taking a trip to Vietnam and Cambodia in February and in reading about Vietnam I learned that they have weasel poop coffee. The guidebook says it is one of three kinds of coffee you can get over there. I'm grateful for options.

So true, Pisces24!! :-\
If you watch the movie the "Bucket List" this coffee is referred to many times.

I'm still thinking about Bopeep's question - how did they ever figure out that you could drink the stuff? Must have been someone pretty desperate for caffeine.
If we end up drinking the weasel poop coffee in Vietnam, I'll give a full report. (By "we" I mean my husband, who will try anything once.)

I've often wondered how brave (or desperate) the first person was who looked at a hen and said "I'm going to eat the next thing that comes out of the back end of that" or "I'm going to squeeze a cow's teat and drink what I get"!
It's all cultural after all!
Linda,
Great question! We already eat and drink some things that are pretty "gross" if you think about it.
I love coffee; makes me think about really checking out what's in that grocery store brand I buy!
