Hi everyone,
Knowing many of us suffer from brain fog and memory issues, I just got to think about it and remembered how many silly things I have done just because of this. But it's so hilarious if you think back of all those times now.
Share you funny blooper stories here, because remember:Laughter is the best medicine!
I'll start: So I was making myself a nice cup of tea before I would go to sleep.I was of course very tired and with the brain fog and all that not fully paying attention and just wanted to go upstairs with my cup of tea and then go to sleep.I wanted to add some sugar to my cup of tea, so I grab the bag(thinking it was the sugar bag) and pour some into my tea. When I went upstairs and took a sip of my cup...All I have to say is it tasted very ..SALTY! I ended up drinking lots of water after that, couldn't get rid of the taste lol!And of course when having dry mouth issues it wasn't very pleasant either.Hurted badly!
Oh Shani, that is funny, and I sure can sympathize with you there!
Let's see, a goofy blooper on my part.... I drive a couple of different cars and each one has the gas door & cap on the opposite side from the other (can you see where this is going? :D). I pulled up the the service bay/pump one day, got out and swore someone had taken my gas cap/door as I just could not find it. There was an older gentleman on the other side of the pump and he pointed out that the gas door/cap was on the other side of the car than I was looking at ::); oh my, I can only imagine what he must have thought! It was so embarrassing! I now keep a note on my dash to "remind" me which side to pull up on.
Patze from embarrassmentville - :)
LOL Patze! That's hilarious and yes I bet it was quite embarrassing.
But atleast you can laugh with it now! :D ;)
Shani,
More than once I have found my glasses on top of my head while showering. I have searched for them (glasses again) while looking through them. I have searched for my cell phone while talking on it.
I guess my worst incident was the day I backed my car out of the garage, stopped to do a mental checklist of things I might have forgotten, and went back inside to look for my car keys -- which were in the ignition of my running car.
You're in good company!
Cheryl
Glad I'm not the only one. :D
And those are some silly bloopers Cheryl!
I stood in front of the lift at work the other day with my keys out, wondering where the keyhole was ???? :-\
Luckily it didn't take long for me to realize you have to push the button to make these doors open !!!
Cheers
Chelle
That made me laugh Chelle. ;D
I am glad you realised to push the button first, else you could have stood there for ages.
Hi :)
I was at the hairdressers and the lass started to wash my hair and I realised I hadn't taken my hearing aid out. That's happened in the shower a few times too!
Take care - Scottie :)
Hehe Scottie, that's silly! :) Bu funny at the same time.
Reminds me, I often forget to take off my socks before showering.
Ends up that I want to step in the bath and then realise I still have my socks on, lol!
One winter while I was sitting in my car waiting for my ride to pick me up,trying to stay warm, I saw him coming,, got out of the car got in his car and went to work,, came home from work to a car that was still running 9 hours later, almost no gas but still running. I wondered why my car didnt have any snow on it till I realized I had left it runing
Lol Navydad, loved that one.:)
A few weeks ago I was on my way out of the house and I happened to reach up to catch some leaves that were blowing by. I thought I heard a "clunk" but thought nothing of it. I walked to the garage, looking for my keys...nowhere to be found. But I just had them to lock the door!
I looked over the fence and there they were... in my crabby neighbour's yard! I had let go of them when I grabbed for the leaves. :o
I keep my gate locked because of this neighbour, and yes, my gate lock is on the same key chain. So I was trapped in my own back yard with no access to the house or garage. With the help of a sturdy wooden chair I was finally able to climb the fence, tip toe through his yard, and retrieve my keys without being spotted by "the grump".
Now when I see a leaf blowing, I get a little shiver down my spine. :-[
That didn't sound like fun, I am glad you managed to get the keys though.
But didn't sound easy to get there at all.
Good that you didn't get spotted by 'The Grump'(Your neighbour I am guessing :D )!
Hugs to you!
Carebear
That's funny, but I bet it was also quite scarey. My daft thing was trying to get my house door to open with my car remote ???
Kathyx
After I retrieved my keys I had a good laugh!
Lol Katy, that's funny!
And I am glad you had a good laugh after wards, Carebear. ;)
Anyone try to change TV channels with the phone instead of the remote? I do this all the time....haven't tried to answer the remote yet...but I'm sure one day I will! ;D
;D ;D ;D
Navydad - wow . . . leaving the car running all day! :o Wasn't it you that turned on the grill, went inside and used a whole tank because you forgot it was on?
Lynnmarie - yeah, I've done that several times. Always laugh at myself - since the TV just doesn't work with the phone!! :D
Carebear - that could have been an AFV (America's Funniest Video) moment trying to retrieve your keys. Good thing your chair didn't collapse or you didn't fall over the wall!!

The other night I was making a sandwich and instead of putting the cheese back in the drawer in the refrigerator, I put it in a regular kitchen drawer.
I didn't realize it until I went to put something away and there was the package of cheese. Luckily it hadn't been in there for very long so the rest didn't spoil!
Lynn, I am sure that will be an interesting conversation! :P
Erin, that was hilarious! I don't think it would smell very pleasant either after a few days of laying in the drawers. :D
Ah Lynn, it's not normal to try to change channels with the phone instead of the remote??? Really now? ;)
