Title: Lower right abdominal pain
Post by: Tinker on October 25, 2010, 08:15:20 PM
Suffered with this for 3 wks, had a colonoscopy, abdominal CT (it was like pulling teeth to get these tests ordered and done), and they found only that I had an adenoma, and thickened intestinal walls.

No appendix, had hysterectomy, no ovaries, so I finally diagnosed myself as having IBS flare up.  Doc at major cancer center totally dropped the ball and never followed up.

I certainly fit the profile for IBS and the GI doc concurred 2 yrs. ago.  I have this pain periodically, even if not constipated.  Now, I know what it is for sure and won't go get another CT unless I have fever or I'm in extreme pain.

Anyone else have IBS with constipation?
