Does anyone know whether or not there is a connection between Sjogren's Syndrome and the tendency towards hypokalemia?
Nans, I don't know the answer to your question specifically, but my rheumy was the one who changed my b.p. med to a potassium-sparing type, saying it was better for my situation. He had me on Aldactone for several years, but early this year changed me to Amiloride (5 mg). Then my potassium went up too high and he told me to cut the tablet in half. So far, it seems to be working well.
