Hi everyone,
I just need to let some frustration out.I'm stuck with a cold, I have pills for my nose to make it open up more(need to take it a week, only day two now) and a nosepray with some antibiotics in it.But I just feel awful, and I am starting to get a dry cough.
Yesterday I kept feeling really warm and hot, along with my hands and joints burning. Then I start sweating sometimes and cool off again or get cold. But I feel really feverish. And so on!And of course it gets even better...my heel of my left feet started hurting badly and a stabbing pain.I was hoping for it to go away, but today I woke up with it being swollen and painful. Now the other feet seems to join in aswell. Then my stomach bothers me again too now(nausea)It makes me feel so clueless and scared some times. :-[ I know that Rheumy told me to give Pred some more time to kick in, but I'm starting to get concerned because I am still getting inflammations and I thought it should prevent this from happening+fight the already existing inflammations and pain. ???
My mom is going to my Gp this evening, hopefully he can give some more answers/advice.
Sorry for al the whining, just feel a bit stressed. Thanks for listening!

2 months ago my achillies heels started hurting really bad. They swelled too. Now the swelling is gone but the pain is just as bad. Some days worse. Some days it feels like someone sliced them with a knife. Pain of somekind is always there. I think this is one of those 'never go away' sjogrens things. But I could be wrong .. I'm new at this ...
Shani, sorry for your bad spell. I will say the Medrol took about 3-4 weeks to kick in for me. Good luck and kisses :-*
Thank you Liz and Babs.
Hugs.
I sure hope you feel better soon. I know a lot of us here can sympathize with feeling downright miserable for a variety of reasons so there's no need to apologize for a good venting session! I hope you get some answers and some relief!
