Greetings,

Just stopped in looking for Sjogren's info.  Figured I'd actually say something instead of lurking as per my usual.

Seems there's plenty of other people dealing with this roller coaster.

Peace and strength.

Rayven

Hi Rayven  :)

Welcome to Sjogren's world. It's better being on a rollercoaster with other people!

Hope you find the site useful. It's certainlyt supportive and friendly.

Take care - Scottie  :)

Hi Rayven,

Let me also welcome you to the SJS World and family!  I'm glad that you're finding the board helpful, and let me tell you, if it wasn't for the wonderful members here, I sure don't know what I would have done.

Can you tell us a bit more about you so the members can get to know you better?

Again, welcome, and I hope to see you in chat soon.

Take care of yourself -

Patze

Well, seems I have Sjogren's or I wouldn't be here ;)  Took about 2 years to diagnose.  When the diagnosis finally came, a lot of symptoms seemed to fall into place.  I consulted a rheumatologist and she put me on Plaquenil.  I don't know if I've noticed much of a difference.  But not my dentist, eye doctor and regular doctor at least all consider Sjogren's as we're talking through things.

Had to have dental work done.  And my eye doc put in punctal plugs which has helped quite a bit.

Now it's just dealing with feeling like I have the joints of a 90 year old when I'm in my 30's.

I live in the midwest.  Have lots of pets. And my lawn looks like scorched earth because we've had no rain :P

At least I'm not dealing with Earl.

Welcome Rayven, It does sound like you are on a roller coaster. A roller coaster is a lot more endurable when the ride is shared.  That's what this forum is all about.  Sharing and getting the support you need.  You are not alone.  Don't be a stranger and post often.
