. . . . . . something from the oven!! ;D
It has been soooooooo hot here this summer that we have avoided using the oven in the kitchen for months. This afternoon it wasn't too bad out - so, for dinner tonight I made homemade pizza. We haven't had that in quite some time and I must say it was YUM-O!!! ;D
Since the oven was already hot, I also whipped up some blueberry muffins. They too are yummy. :D Now granted, these are made from a mix, but they are still good. If you've never tried Martha White muffins - they are very good.
My house smells so good right now. :D
I have "a few" leftovers if anyone wants to stop by . . . first come, first serve. :D

Both sound yummmmmmy.....I love pizza and the blueberry muffins sound pretty darn good too!
Something from the grill. We had friends over and grilled burgers (4lbs), Mushroom tops, Chicken breasts and Hot dogs. Mashed potatoes, and chips topped off the main course with garlic sauteed mushrooms and deviled eggs... The desert was home made peach cheese cake.
We had enough for lunch and supper with enough leftovers for several other meals.
After supper we started a fire in the fire pit and made smores.

Usually when we BBQ Steaks are added to the menu along with unique salids, vegies, and three or 4 deserts. Pot Luck BBQ's.

Irish, My house is not HC accessible but I you wanted, you and your husband could come up for a weekend BBQ we are just off Hwy 100 and 57th St.
