Title: Yet another Newbie
Post by: Rob_MI on August 16, 2010, 01:35:19 PM
I am Rob_MI and was warmly greeted in chat last night by several moderators and some chatters.  I am 60 yo male dxed Late June 2010 with primary sjogrens syndrome.  I am photosensative and seeing a new dermatologist in 2 days about my rashes.  I suspect its some variation of cutaneous lupus(per a previous punch biopsy).  Been on Plaq 7 weeks with no noticable effect, and I know it can take long to start.  It seems my symptoms are increasing getting worse.

A lady I met at a different forum, Sandra in Canada, initially told me about this website.  I'm pretty sure she is a user here but I don't know her Username.

PS: I might not be logging in here daily.  I am feeling pretty bad lately.

Hi Rob from Michigan . . . welcome to your Sjoggie family.   We met last night in chat.   ;D

I hope you find the forum helpful to you as there is a wealth of information here.

Hope you get some answers from your dermatologist this week . . good luck with your appointment.

(Our weather cooled off today . . . I'll send it your way . . .  ;)  )

Bucky

Thanks Bucky for the welcome here and in chat last night.  I recommend chat to others.  It gave my mind and body a break from worry.

The cooler weather you sent arrived early this morning.  Thanks for that too...Whew, been too hot.  I haven't had to run the A/C today.  I'm sure the power company is pleased with all the heat waves we've had.

Welcome Rob! There is a lot of information in the archives of this forum. When I Google some things I am referred back to posts on this forum...occasionally my own often others.

Thanks Joe S.
I am diabetic too but sjogrens and/or autoimmune problems have really lowered my blood glucose levels for some odd reason.

I have spent hours reading this forum but just decided to join the ranks today.

Welcome Rob:

Some of us have a clear diagnosis, and others are wandering around dazed and confused.  But we all belong here, believe me.

Jump in any time.

Nice to meet you.

Keep us posted!

Kisses

Hello to you lynnmarie219 and thanks!  You know, coming to this forum kind of takes my mind away from my symptoms for awhile.  Thanks again!
