i drink monavie joice for fibro pain- its pricey- 35$ a bottle tht lasts maybe 2 weeks... anyhow, dumb thing yesteray- drank from the bottle instead of pouring it - im getting bad as the kids!!!
anyhow, last night had TERRIBLE cramping/diahrea/vomiting. today feel better except tired from being up half the night-
I ate a restarurante salad yestreday- thinking may have gotten food poinsoning- Ive never had cramping like that and with ibs ive taklen more than my share of laxatives over the years...is there a way of telling difference? virus vs.oisnoning?
does it sound like virus??? I just hate tossing out the monavie- wont do that again!!!

If it lasts only 24 hours or so and you don't have any other symptoms-chills, fever etc., I would go with food poisoning. I hope you're feeling better. I had it twice when I was in college and it was horrible.
I have had food poisoning 3 times, my motto is "when in doubt, throw it out".
It is the restraunt salad. I can't eat them either. They go straight thru me after about 20 minutes. I think it is the preservatives they put on them. Red Lobster is the only salad that I can eat.
Just a thought, harlin
35 dollars a bottle!!!! Modern day snake-oil.
yeah - I know its crazy- i get it at cost too- but it is literally the difference between being able to move my ar,ms/shoulder and not being able to drive, dress etc. it sooooo helps the fibro- im not sure if it is the exact blend of fruit or just that it is super high in antioxicants plus it has glucosamine... anyhow, i tried giving it up thinking yeah, waste of money but then the pain and troubles came back... so go figure. but i know this, i will use a shot glass to drink it and no more from the bottle - learned my lesson!!!
btw, i did toss it- taking noooo chances - ws way to sick for that

Well, I was excited about trying the monavie until you said it had glucosamine in it. I can't take that because I'm allergic to iodine and they derive the glucosamine from shellsfish shells. Bummer...
Leo,
not all monavie has the glucosamine- there are several ones that do not....
Hi LeoLady
There is a 'vegetarian' glucosomine out there too somewhere - NOT made using shellfish. I have a vegetarian friend who uses it for staving off joint pain.
Take care - Scottie :)
