The Forum has the worst spell check in all history.
It doesn't recognize anything we use constantly!!!!!
And I need HELP with some of the terms it has no clue about.
It seems odds for a medical site to fail to recognize one medical term.
Oh well
Nit picking I guess.
Carolina
PS, THIS post didn't confuse the spell check or challenge it at all! :D
Hi Carolina :)
I know what you mean. Although the site is about a medical topic it's not actually set up as a medical site. It's a case of where Sjogren's world could be 'hosted'. As far as I know - we have no control over the spell check. We always play down the importance of spelling and typos in here anyway. ::)
Take care - Scottie :)
Got to love the spell checker, I imagine that it's driving you to distraction, but hang in there, it's making me a better speller (well, mostly! ;) :D).

Here's the on line Medical Dictionary: http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/mplusdictionary.html
It is the next one after sjogrensworld.org in my Favorites. ;) and, then National Sjogren's Foundation at Sjogrens.org
When looking up a term and you logged on here at SW, just remember when you 'hit' on med site in your Favorites that it takes you out of sjogrensworld and you'll need to Log on again. Bottom line, if you happen to be composing a post...you guessed right, it's gone unless you Copy before going to Med Dictionary, then Paste it back when you reenter. ???
Think the above will do the trick?
Going to post on Discussion Board that April is National Sjogren's Awareness Month and the theme is Friends Helping Friends this year. Please take time to checkout the post.

P.S. If you go and check what you just posted and OMG, you see a misspelled word, you can go to upper R corner of your post and 'hit' the Modify button and change the 'little devilish word' to its correct spelling. :D Just be sure and hit Save at bottom of your post (replaces the Post button) when modifying post.
I didn't even know there was a spellcheck! You're all way ahead of me. How about a checker for dropping a word? That's my common mistake. My brain works faster than my fingers type! LOL
I wouldn't worry too much about it...we all read "sjogrens" in here so its a-ok! The content of what we say is much more important than the spelling or grammar! ;)
Don't you all agree??
Sure do Lynnmarie, sure do! :) :D ;D
