navydad,

good luck and hope this one works well for you...as I told you, no matter what the doc says, make sure they run your Rituxan along time. The faster it runs, the more
chance for reactions...I do this for all my infusions..I almost have the time doubled. The pre-meds are critical as Im sure your aware..the benedryl and medrol IV, tyleno,
are necessary. I also have them run saline through the entire process. One time on a rituxan IV, they didnt run any saline and the nurse said It wasnt on the order, so
I just said 'OK"...my body was so dried out and it just burned. People with sjogrens do not have enough fluid in their bodies and need this. I also drank tons
of water the whole time.  Let us know how it goes....make sure you check over the docs order before starting..just to be safe.

 Hi Navy Dad,
I'm glad you are going in for this treatment, and I pray that it will do something for you.

Please don't get so keyed up with your family, we all know that the age - old saying is true.

"You don't understand any illness at all , unless you have it too"

Lot's of Doctors, including my own, do not have a clue what we go through , so how can we expect our families to do so.

That's one of the the reason this site was set up! we shall be rooting for you
                                                                                                                                            Dolly. ..
