Title: extreme dry mouth, eyes, ears and nose!!
Post by: SunnyGirl on January 23, 2010, 09:10:22 PM
HELP!!!!!!  I have tried so many over the counter products but with my symptoms getting progressively worse, I am tearing my hair out.   I have lots of ideas for keeping comfortable and making life more livable if anyone is interested.  Having an upbeat attitude and having a support system of friends and family also helps.   Feel free to email me since Sjogren's World will soon be history.  ***please e-mail me by clicking the envelop icon under my name*** my name is Julie, diagnosed in November of 05.  Have learned a lot since then.  Good luck to all my fellow SS sufferers.  I know and understand how tough and daunting life can be.

Just to clarify . . . Sjogren's World is not going anywhere.   In fact, they are celebrating their 10th Anniversary. The E-Pal program is ending effective at the end of the day on January 31st.  The Forums and Live Chat will still be available.

Hi Julie,

You mention that you've tried a lot of OTC meds, are you on any prescription meds by chance?  If you are, which ones are you on?

You also mentioned that your symptoms are getting worse, are you okay?  What do your doctors say about them?

Hang in there, and take care of yourself -

Hi Sunny,

As Patze mentioned, there are many options for dryness both over the counter and prescription....but I don't know what you have tried. Have you talked to you doc about these issues...either your GP, eye doc, dentist, rheumy, any of them may be able to help.

Also as Bucky mentioned...Sjogrens World is not going anywhere...we have been around for a long time and plan to be around for a lot longer!  ;D
