Title: Happy Feet!
Post by: harrigan on December 18, 2009, 01:48:42 PM
I promised to let you know about my Whooga boots (like Ugg but not quite as dear) - they are bliss!!!!  I can do playground duty for 20 mins and stay toasty warm.  Nothing pinches, rubs or squeezes.  I can walk confidently on the ice.  And for the first time ever, my daughters are not laughing at my shoes!!  Definitely a good buy.  XX Ailsa

Ailsa,
That's terrific.  I don't think there is anything worse than sore feet. :(  I'm so glad to hear the boots are all you hoped for.

I just dug my boots out of closet after dinner.  Our parts are suppose to get up to 2 feet of snow in the next 24 hours.  I'm not planning on going out anywhere  ::), but will need the boots to help clean the porch and back deck.  Sure hope we have a heat wave on Monday. ;D

Take care and enjoy those "HAPPY FEET".

Hugs, Pooh

Hi Ailsa,

I'm also glad to hear that you've gotten a good pair of boots!  A good pair is worth it's weight in gold, well, almost!  ;) :D

Yeah, I've had to dig out my pair from the back of the closet as the snow is coming down and I gotta go find my car, I did park it in the lot last night, at least I thought I did!  ;D

Take care -

Patze

Ailsa

Congratulations on the boots. Where did you buy them from? I have two pairs of nice leather boots, but would really find some fleecy/fur lined ones useful while it's so cold. Maybe I could get some in the January sales.

Kathy - they were a b'day present from a friend.  She googled ugg boots size 42 as I have problems finding shoes to fit, and found these.  They are lovely and I feel like I have normal feet again wearing these ... no-one knows what monsters lie beneath the sheepskin!!

Poochie, hope your snowfall wasn't as bad as expected - think you might be wishful thinking for the heatwave though!!  Wherever you're digging out and gritting this weekend, hope you can stay warm and well XX Ailsa

Ailsa - can I borrow your boots today?  It's cold and snowy and your boots sound so warm.  When I heard the name of them they sounded like something someone on a train would wear!!  LOL   ::)

I too wonder about a size 42??  Will be curious to know what the conversion size is.

Enjoy your boots!!

42 is a continental size - I used to be a size 8 but lots of 8s don't fit because of the himalayas on my toes and with continental sizes being smaller, I would probably be a 9.  Yep, it's official - feet almighty.  :o

Can you cyber them over to me please???

Had bad snow and ice here and I've been caught on the hop, or should I say skid!!!  Was meaning to buy some warm but more importantly non-slip boots as recently had a dx of advanced osteoporosis too so now terrified of falling and breaking something else.  So poor hubby is shepherding me around everywhere now, feel like the queen been ushered in and out of the car.
