Title: Pillow Talk????
Post by: Joy Cox on November 19, 2009, 06:29:36 PM
:) Have gotten much relief for shoulders/neck after changing from the Medium sized Tempur-pedic pillow to the Small size one.. I'm only 5' tall. Wondering how many others use Tempur-pedic pillow?

Joy,
I use one, but the size isn't marked on it.  It does help my neck issues most days.

Irish and Bucky, you made this Friday a special one for me! Can tell by the 'chatter' of you two young ladies, I might be wise to put you two in time out and let you coooooooooool your jets....

Irish, will be glad to ship you my medium sized pillow, postage free, and promise two heads fit nicely on it.....   ::)

::) Don't be tooooooo shocked, I may be 'over the hill' BUT 'not under it!'

I have 3 tempurpedic pillows -- one for my head, the body size pillow to keep me on my side during sleep, and one for between my legs.  They have been a lifesaver in terms of pain.  I also have the full medical version Tempurpedic matress.  I am bed bound a lot of the time and the mattress really helps!  I haven't gotten any pressure sores and I attribute that to the mattress.  Since its medical grade I got my insurace to pay for most of it.  Hope this helps!

I use the tempurpedic pillow in medium.  The small one did not help me much but I am sleeping much better.  Who would ever believe a pillow could help that much?

Interesting to hear...I am getting ready to get a new mattress and wondered about the temprupedic(spelling???) as am unable to sleep on my side with current mattress as too hard on my shoulders....(and I am a side sleeper, so not getting much sleep!) What type of mattress do all of you use? I sleep with a down pillow, actually several of them....but maybe should try a different pillow too.

Ladies, I can only tell you that I'm very disappointed in the true subject mater, but since I already wasted my time ready this without one salacious post I might as well comment.  I tried a comfort pillow and didn't find it all that comfortable and the smell was enough to gag a maggot and it never went away.  I use a old feather pillow that is only about 2 inches high, anything higher than that hurts my neck.

Epson, I am so proud of you cause you were a good boy---especially since I couldn't ignore the title of this tread. Need a laugh once in a while. Also, a young lady I am not...more like an old lady. Will be 67 in January but still able to sit up and take nourishment. Irish ;D
