Thanks all for the birthday wishes. Yes, it was a wonderful day and I will probably have cake over the weekend. Hubby took me to Red Lobster for dinner last night and then took me to yarn shop. He knows what a passion I have for new yarns to knit.
It was just the right time, all my favorite wool yarns were on sale, so I now will be knitting up a storm until Christmas. The colors were so hard to decide on, they are all so beautiful.
Hubby says, "You are like a junkie in an unattended Meth lab, when you get around yarn." :D
He's right, I love it.

I know exactly what you mean about being an 'addict' in knitting shops. I'm like that in shops that sell knitting wool and sewing supplies, and in stationery shops, and in kitchenware stores. Little tastes of heaven!

You'll never guess what I've been doing all day? KNITTING!!! ;D
I know have 3 projects going at the same time, sure wish I had 6 hands. :D
As I said in my post, the yarn was on sale and I bought 100% Merino wool for the first time in years. It is such a joy to work with. I also tried the Alpaca yarn, but I'm not to thrilled with it. It's like knitting my dog's hair into it. It's soft and easy to work, but I keep wanting to pull the "dog hair" out of it. :D
Anyway, THANK YOU ONE AND ALL for the birthday wishes. My son and I are having cake and ice cream tomorrow at my daughter's house. His birthday was the 14th but he was in Texas then.
